Shift shaft with sealing ring TH350 / C It is common for the selector shaft seal in GM TH350 and TH350C gearboxes to leak. Often this leak is caused by scoring on the stem itself, which prevents the seal from doing its job. Scoring and scratches can be caused by coarse-grain debris dragging past a worn gasket or the use of improper tools to remove an old gasket. In these cases, the stem and seal must be replaced to restore normal operation.
