Versa Shield is designed to protect starters from potential failures caused by under hood heat exposure conditions. Constructed of an aluminized, heat-reflective material backed with a high-temperature fiberglass insulation barrier, Versa-Shield is capable of reflecting radiant heat up to 2000°F. Simply wrap the desired component with Versa-Shield and trim off excess material. The edges attach to themselves with a Velcro design. In most cases, installing Versa Shield does not require removing any components.
